England, August 2009, page 2 of 2.

Trafalgar Square. We stayed at a hotel one block from here for the last part of our trip; it was the best-located hotel I've ever stayed at. Pretty much everything shown on these two web pages, except for Brighton of course, is walking distance from here.

A cool thing about London: the sculptures and statures, which are many, really are made for climbing on.

Miscellaneous scenes around London.

WestAbbey2a

Westminster Abbey, a mere 750 years old. A church has stood on this spot since 1065 AD,
and every monarch of Britain since William the Conqueror (1066) was crowned here. A
number of them are also buried here, including Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. So are
Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, and many others.
The single most amazing building I have ever been in.

At the Tower of London.

The Admiralty arch, on the Mall between Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.

The Changing of the Horse Guard ceremony.

Iggy

Iggy! Would you buy auto insurance from this guy!?
I must have seen a hundred of these posters.
